Print & Pattern Workshop

18th April 2026 10:00 - 12:30

Curious about new ways to decorate your pottery without needing to be “artistic”? This workshop is all about playful, low-pressure surface design using print-inspired techniques that create beautiful, layered results.

We’ll explore alternative decorative methods using a combination of slips, underglazes, and inks, then learn how to transfer designs onto greenware using:

Mono-printing, Transfers, Gel printing, Screen printing and Stencilling (perfect if you want structure and repeatable designs).

You'll bring your own leather hard pieces, or buy ready to decorate pieces on the day.

£30 exluding pots and firing.

The Clay Collective offers a fantastic environment for learning pottery. Highly recommend their classes and workshops!

Clay bowls are placed on a wooden table in a pottery studio. The nearest bowl has carvings of animals and symbols, while the others have engraved hearts with numbers. The background features a wooden wall with various artworks and shelves. A person with glasses is partially visible, observing the scene.
